Shingles can start without visual manifestations. You may feel pain in one part of your body, and just see a rash after day. The rash may develop into blisters with fluid inside. After a few days, the blisters pop, ooze out liquid and make the virus more likely to be sent to other people. As wounds develop scabs or crusts, you may experience less pain until you are healed.
